Sesame Street

I was hired to take over the Snuffleupagus role from Jerry Nelson. I took over Telly Monster from the multi-talented Brian Meehl in 1984. Slimey, Buster the Horse, the Martians, Vincent Twice, Old McDonald, Irvine and Monty all came along as the years went by. The only puppet ever made for me from scratch was Shelley The Turtle. There have been tremendous changes on the show since 1981, but I still love being on the studio floor and making my fellow cast members and crew laugh.
